convicted of killing a Coral Gables police officer 33 years ago
To those whom "disagree" with the death penalty and say "it doesn't work" I say this:
If this POS was executed 31.5 years ago, the death penalty will have been a resounding success. If all pondscum who have been found guilty of murder are executed within 1.5 years of the sentencing the death penalty will be a resounding success.
33 fr@cking years are you kidding me? No wonder leftists and others are able to claim the death penalty doesn't work.

Yes, it is a travesty that this killer should still be alive, so long after the death of his victim. Hell, the crime occurred so long ago that most of the media articles don't bother to identify the long-dead police officer. Practically the only photo of Officer Louis Pena is this tiny one displayed by the Coral Gables Police website:
This man has been in his grave since before most of the current crop of anti-death penalty troublemakers were born.
