How did this little communist win an election in North Carolina of all places ?
I think a lot of New Yorkers have moved there. Remember this is from the same state that elected John Edwards.
For that I have no answer. Indictments were swirling around her predecessor, she was at least peripherally engaged in questionable matters herself. She won with the thinnest of margins.
When ACORN and moveon.org posted jobs in local papers for ten dollars an hour to drive people to vote give them laptops to vote a straight party D ticket.Obama landed in Fayetteville and overnight people could vote two weeks before the election as many times as they want for democrats.It was also noted that weeks before Obama’s election he visited a small mom and pop diner in Fayetteville for a fake photo op and was told by the owners to leave.
The good news is that we have a Republican majority in the state house and senate for the first time in over 100 years d/t the election correction of 2010. They are terrified of the beating they will take in 2012, it will be EPIC!
When the Research Triangle Park (RTP) opened for business in the late70s, early80s, IBM located here transporting lots of Yankees from NJ, NY, etc. Of course, they brought their politics with them, and, ta da, here we are. (Note that in Nov 10 elections, we took over NC House and NC Senate—first time in 100 yrs.) Her days are numbered.
