a) a major EMP attack requires more coordination than the Iranians could pull off and
b) what we know about EMPs is based on one incident in Hawaii after a nuclear test in the 50s.
This is not the 50s and the Iranians are not the Soviets.
When I was in the Navy, I often heard “There are 2 kinds of ships, subs and targets”.
Wonder how many subs the iranians have.
Not to mention we just tested an emp cruse missile capable of being rerouted in flight with multiple shots per launch. I wonder with that kind of ability why not put it in a uav vs a 1 and done.
