Coming off a poorly received debate performance, Texas Gov.Rick Perry is now trying to capitalize off the uneasiness of voters with Romney in two newly-released attack ads aimed at Romney, his chief competitor for the Republican nomination for President in 2012.
---------------------------
I think Perry focusing on Romney is a mistake. Both men at 17/18% in latest Zogby and Cain is well ahead. Dean and Gephardt attacked each other out of front runner status in 04 and lost IA to Kerry.
Excellent!
Yes.
This is the ONLY chance Rick Perry has to show
he has substance and has a conservative stripe.
ahhh... its good to see Perry working for Cain now!
:)
HUNTSMAN: You know, I'm tempted to say that, when all is said and done, the two guys standing in the middle here, Romney and Perry, aren't going to be around, because they're going to bludgeon each other to death.
With any luck at all, and if God chooses to so greatly bless this nation, Perry and Romney will slap-fight each other all the way into single digits and Herman Cain will win this nomination, win the white house, hold the House and have a 60 seat majority in the Senate.
Shock the world Mr. Cain, shock the world.
Good. They can fight between themselves while Mr. Cain runs passed them to the finish line.
I think that's been Sarah's strategy all along.
IMO Herman Cain is just the flavor of the week. When the spotlight hits him hard, he will flame out and implode just as Perry did.
Sarah holding back her entry is proving to be wiser & wiser every passing day.
I don’t think Cain will self destruct like Perry. Perry was a dog that was never going to hunt because his record does not match his rhetoric and in the age of internet you can’t hide. What will happen to Cain is the media will SMEAR him like they did Palin. Palin , having already been tested and smeared and recovered can come in with her teflon and pick up all the pieces and win.
If you want to keep bringing up Perry’s views about the children of illegals getting help then you need to take some of the other candidates off the list, as well.
However, Romney shares your view.
Closer look at Perry = less support.
Closer look at Herman = more support.
Maybe you can articulate exactly what Perry has been hiding?
I’m glad there’s some effort to press Romney I don’t find either web ad particularly effective.
