According to Keith Koffler at White House Dossier, Barack Obamas poll numbers are not the only the ones that are lower than anticipated. His fundraising efforts for the second quarter of his campaign have produced an amount substantially lower than that collected during the first quarter.
Koffler cites an article in the New York Times that quotes Obama campaign manager Jim Messina telling Democratic officials the president will raise about $55 million in the quarter ending September 30. Thats $30 million less than he raised during the quarter ending June 30a 36% drop.
The campaign maintains that the need for Obama to stay in Washington to fight Republicans over the budget (another potential government shutdown looms this coming Friday). In other words, the job of being president is interfering with his campaign efforts.
Koffler points to another Times article that suggests the Obama campaign is not attracting as many small donorsthe people who contribute$10 or $25 or $50 every few weeks or monthsas they might have hoped for. Writes theTimes Nicholas Confessore:
"[I]n recent months, the frustration and disillusionment that have dragged down Mr. Obamas approval ratings have crept into the ranks of his vaunted small-donor army, underscoring the challenges he faces as he seeks to rekindle grass-roots enthusiasm for his re-election bid."
Another ominous sign for the presidents war chest comes from a poll conducted by McLaughlin & Associates. The polling data showthat only 64% of Jews who donated to Obamas 2008 presidential campaign have contributed or plan to contribute to his re-election campaign.
That’s why he needs the new stimulus plan. To pay the donors for their donations!
Couldn’t be that all his crony buddies are going belly up would it?
Can’t wait to be rid of this criminal.
Guess only those with Jobs can send money to Obama, hope the Libs do see the correlation.
TAX THE RICH !!!
oops, there goes the donation money.
... obama’s donation “recession” is Bush’s fault.
Last quater fundraising events, the O team asked for maximum contribution from each donor already.
What do they expect will happen in subsequent quaters? Do they believe that wealthy donors are inexhaustable, or that rules don’t apply to them?
Are we going to be treated yet again that > 90% of his donors contributed 20 dollars or less ($5 - 10 are the norm, if we are to believe their lies)?
Wait! What?

Who to believe?
How ironic. People are unemployed because of Obama, so they can’t donate or donate as much. LOL. Good stuff.
He may have to dip into the secret accounts he and Michelle have been building since 2009, even though they may be down to their last three trillion.
“The polling data show that only 64% of Jews who donated to Obamas 2008 presidential campaign have contributed or plan to contribute to his re-election campaign.”
Well, there you have it!
