Having been in close proximity to a President before, (George W Bush), I find it hard to believe those in the front section where this heckler was, was not vetted in some way by the local DNC officials and then by the Secret Service. To be that close to Bush, we had to have personal invitations in hand from the County GOP office and we had to go through a gauntlet of Secret Service. We even had to turn on our cameras for them to prove they were real. Judging by where Zero is pointing his finger at the jacket, this guy was dead center and right up front. Same location as his fainters, come to think of it.
Yup .. he was CLOSE. And if he was ‘unexpected’ then i guarantee that he would never have gotten out as much as he did. He went on for quite a while. The secret service are pretty hard nosed about people creating disruptions / distractions around a POTUS.
They take care of them FAST! Much faster than this guy was handled. They were expecting it and let him go on and on and on. Look how many times Obama shook his head and had that grin on his face.
