It was the Fort Hood Massacre.
I was driving to pick up my kids from school, listening to the news, praying that my husband was alright, when I heard that one.
I was so sick that I almost had to pull over. When I got to the school, there were several parents there who’d heard it and they were furious, too.
Obama gave a “shout out” to friends at the start of the Ft Hood shoot speech. Funny, the Youtube video of this master piece speech has been taken down.
