I don't know. There were a lot of things Bush did during his first term where the libs were completely on-board.
You didn't hear them complain about changing banking laws to help the millions of illegal aliens obtain US bank accounts, credit cards, auto, home and business loans, did you?
They also underreported his ordering the border patrol to stand-down allowing many more millions to cross the border illegally.
I also didn't hear any belly-aching about his wanting to grant amnesty to all these illegals.
Did you hear them complain about Bush wanting to give US Social Security benefits to these illegal aliens? I didn't. The LSM was as quiet as church mice for these actions.
In fact, as I recall, the only ones complaining about these actions were true conservatives who were actually paying attention to what Bush was doing instead of standing and cheering his WOsT.
The crime is in being a Republican. Sooner you understand that, the less shocking the liberals will become.
