The overwhelming likelihood is that Perry is as real and as conservative a candidate as you are going to get. You can stamp your foot, roll around on the floor and hold your breath until your face turns blue. It won't change a thing. Unless some other serious candidate enters the race, it's Romney v. Perry, and Perry wins. Moreover, Perry will win with strong support from most conservatives, including a clear majority of those who hang out at FR.

Perry’s policies, histories, comments last week and his complete lack of debate skills has shown he can’t win and he isn’t a conservative at all.

I talked to a good friend in Texas who worked with Perry and she said he isn’t a conservative and has done a lot to hurt the state. From what I see, I agree with her.

Your claim it is perry or Mitt is a false choice. There are some real conservatives out there and if we start acting like conservatives and back them rather than RINOS like Perry, we will win with without a RINO.
