According to campaign-finance records, Solyndra donated $7,500 to the California Democratic Party in October 2010. It’s legal in California for corporations to make donations. But that doesn’t explain why the company would identify the Democratic Party as a creditor in its bankruptcy filing a year later.

IMHO Solyndra couldn't come up with the whole bribe at one time - they had to ask for credit... Would that be a hoot? First 'bribe on credit' we know of - and the New York Times wouldn't cover it if it did happen.

What would the interest payments be? Organized crime rates are high - dems might be 'the same' ...

Teachers unions (under the guise of education) Auto workers. Green energy (Solyndra + others).....I want these bastards in jail. It's becoming clear it was a fleecing of the citizenry and our tax dollars for friends of the administration.

Stimulus funds for education were to go to retaining teachers, but they often went instead to refurbish pension funds.

Great catch, Martin, if a sickening one. Is that John Chambers in the blue shirt on the left, lifting his glass high as if to toast the King?

I guess that the money-laundering laws and RICO is only used against enemies of the "Regime".

The next U.S. Atty. General is going to be very busy.

Oh wow. We REALLY are looking at a potential political embezzlement scandal on a scale we haven't seen since William Magear "Boss" Tweed did the same thing when he ran the Tammany Society between 1858 and 1871.
