It’s unlikely that Palin would want to be the spoiler for Romney. Most likely she will endorse Cain who’s rapidly moving up in the polls as we speak.
“Its unlikely that Palin would want to be the spoiler for Romney.”
The candidates who don’t score early victories tend to drop out, so the field will inevitably narrow down to two people.
This is not the time to choose the lesser of two evils.
I don’t see how Palin can get behind anyone after that last debate. I like Cain, but he has said a lot of stupid stuff that isn’t going to cut it if he gets high enough in the polls for media scrutiny. I don’t disagree with his Islamophobia, but the media is going to have a field day with it and, if he gets into the top tier, it isn’t going to last a week.
If she's going to do it, now would be the perfect time. He's got the kindling burning and needs a burst of oxygen to make it flame up before it flames out. He especially needs money--lots and lots and lots of money--to burn once he gets the fire going. He's not going to get that money unless he looks like true top tier candidate. Palin could probably boost him to that level.
If Palin were inclined to extend the kindness of her endorsement to Cain NOW, it could make all the difference.
