I loved....absolutely loved Bush....poured all my confidence into this beloved President....

...but when he turned in 2007....and not only turned, but insulted American citizens in the process...

..it broke my heart and started me on the road to cynicism....!

I will never put complete confidence in a mere man again, and should have known better the first time....

...however, I am and will remain hopeful that someone comes along with as much integrity as a human being can possess....and, with a passionate & patriotic heart...

... bring our country around!!!!

I don’t listen to him, just read. I can’t stand listening to most people. I can read faster than they can talk. Plus, I have sensitive ears! haha

Thanks for the ping.

Perry can only hope to become more careful not to directly insult conservatives on national television again. The man who was Al Gore's campaign chairman has not changed his old liberal stripes. Perry is an opportunist who changed party affiliation in Texas so he could win higher office. That dog don't hunt at the national level.

There was a time where I thought very highly of Britt Hume, but since his step down and semi retirement his brain has become stale and moldy...

he once has some great character in him..slowly loosing it..

Herman Cain’s handicap right now is name recognition—and he knows it. Hopefully, the media coverage and word-of-mouth following the Florida straw poll will put Cain’s name on the national map.

I just returned to PA. area after spending two weeks in Atlanta, Georgia area, HE IS REALLY LOVED THERE...

I'm a devoted Palin supporter but my second choice is Cain, and if Sarah does not soon announce I'll send my support to Cain..I'm really getting tired of WAITING..................

I really, really liked Cain's remarks today.

It didn’t help that the first two so called debates were run by liberal media. It was obvious they were trying to destroy Perry. More questions were tossed his way and other candidates were encouraged to attack. Chris Wallace was not much better in the Fox/Google Debates. They should be fair to all, not just try to knock off a particular candidate.

Perry rarely uses EO’s. The Gardisil was never passed, and no dose was ever given. Non issue and a dead horse. He believes in a strong border, but Obama hasn’t provided any thing Perry requested such as drones, National Guard troops, other aviation assets. obama turns loose all the illegals that Perry and the police try to deport. The in-state tuition was passed by both houses of the Legislature with a veto proof majority. There are a LOT of legal hispanics in TX and this bill was important to them as well as lots of voters in all districts. There were only a total of 4 NO votes. Both houses are controlled by the Republicans. By the way not all children of illegals are illegal themselves. I am from TX and very familiar with these issues and you are incorrect.

You mean in liberal land? I wouldn’t vote for Romney, he doesn’t sit well with me.

Perry's problems are that he has no answers for questions he has to know are coming. Either he and his staff are clueless as to what's going to be asked,or Perry actually knows very little. What other choice is there?

A governor (or president) doesn't have to be able to make decisions in the fraction of a second that a debater has to respond, nor does he have to be able to formulate a smooth response without any notes or reflection. It's not a flaw in terms of governing potential that Perry doesn't sound polished on stage, just in terms of electability. It's quite possible that he knows a lot and knows what will be asked but has to learn to turn his brain off when answering a question and just let the canned answer come out instead of continuing to reflect, which distracts him and makes his words inarticulate.
