Greek Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos sought to reassure nervous markets and EU partners on Saturday by pledging his debt-ridden country would do whatever it takes to avoid default and stay in the euro zone.
During an IMF meeting in Washington that was dominated by fears that Greek debt woes could trigger a wider European crisis, threatening banks and hurting the world economy, Venizelos dismissed any talk of bankruptcy.

True enough....to the best of my knowledge, there’s no way constitutionally to kick Greece out. The EU should’ve thought of that little mechanism.
I recall the “Smartest Guys In The Room” said Enron was all just hunky-dorey before it went belly up; that’s what drew my curiosity to the original article. Usually, when some politician or another says, “_________will NEVER happen”, it does. So, I’m left wondering what’s gonna go down. Glad I’m back in the Czech Republic; I was living in Berlin for a couple years, then came back here.
At least CR doesn’t use the Euro, thank heavens. :)

Yeah, it does. But, I don't recall the details but apparently it's almost impossible to kick Greece out of the EU and off the Euro. And, Greece ain't leaving voluntarily for sure. So, this two-tier’d format may be the only solution for the EU other than continuing to float Greece handout out into perpetuity - which I am sure is what the Greeks would like just fine...
