That is as specious a strawman as I’ve ever seen here.
You [and everyone else] have a state environmental dept for that...same as you have a state education dept, state health department and several other state department of federal redundency departments.
Between Clean Air, Clean Water, Endangered Species, and Lib SCOTUS interpretations of the Interstate Commerce Clause, the feds have a stranglehold that can be broken only by either defunding/elimination/repeal; or revolt.
Lets try the legislative route...first.
The politicians have prevented, in most instances, a marketplace solution from even being allowed to come into existence.
The EPA is a purely political machine hell bent on destroying Capitalism. Don't fall into the trap thinking that without the EPA, pollution would overwhelm our land.

Your State of Ohio can deal with that better, quicker, and more efficiently than the feds in Washington.
