The question was, do you really think Texas would vote for Obama out of spite?

No, I don't think they would vote for Obama, I think they would just stay home. Just like the evanageicals did when the Bush DWI came out. That wasn't even close to all the evangalicals but it still almost cost Bush the election and it permanently weakened his entire term.

Texans don't take kindly to nasty accusations, and yes, I think they are perfectly capable of just staying home. After all, they have a nice prosperous state despite Obama and the feds doing everything in their power to take it away from them. They're tough people, the great majority are honest as the day is long, hard working, and proud. Why would they do anything for people who lie about them or call them anti-American for doing what they think is right (as granted by the constitution).
