With this and the asthma inhaler ban, I think it behooves state and local governments to actively protect their business from the feds and make fed interference free zones. Tell the illegal anticonstitutional laws of the feds to shove it.

I think I’ll keep this saved for the next time I hear someone say “If we don’t like what our government does, we can just vote it out next election”.
It’s rather funny that in light of all the hooplah that happens when elections come around, the politicians who need to be kicked out are virtually untouchable.

Just speaking of it as a strategic issue, the EPA wouldn’t send any of **their** people out to the property to interfere with you. They will send a cop or a US Marshal. And as you and some hapless US Marshal shot it out,,, the EPA SOB who made all the decisions in the case, who laughed at the 40 million dollar fine threat, would be headed off to lunch in a nice restaurant.
Until tyrants feel personal fear, nothing will change.
Just food for thought. But say a known associate of a Mexican cartel or a Tony Soprano type started to build that house in that same area. Wonder if EPA man may stop and think about a few things before he tried to ruin that person financially. Things like the safety of his family, his kids,,,or whether the car might explode. Things like maybe becoming a victim of a tragic “random” mugging.
People in much of the world know this ethos. It would be a shame if our agency bureaucrats acting as tyrants caused that inevitable behavior here. While fear is not what we want our government to feel about the people. A government EPA mole that has a smirking absence of fear, is a bad and provocative thing.

Yeah, it is bad when you get to the point where you start rooting for one gang of criminals over another. As bad as the mob is, if you leave them alone, they generally will leave you alone unless you cut into their business, in that case, they want their take or else. I have higher respect for them than the government as currently constructed. I'm to the point where I even feel sorry for Al Capone once The Man got him. I often wondered myself what would happen if the EPA would find a dead fish in a newspaper from a Tony Soprano.
That's why I'd never want to be a bureaucrat or work in government, first I'd never want be part of that pack of snakes (sorry if I insult any snakes) and two, I value the lives of my family, friends, myself and pets, I don't want to tick anyone off.

Hey EPA. Never piss off an attorney named “Damien” (Damian). You saw the movie and you know what he can do.
Drop the case before you join his father.
On second thought, even Satan has standards. He’ll never let you in. The first thing you’ll do is to regulate the heat of Hell and bring in OSHA.
Your cries of “global warming” will drive him insane.
Oh the horror of it all!

Thats where the county sheriff comes in handy.
A lot of times the sheriff can stop these proceedings. They can hold up mortage sales.
People dont know what power the sheriff has. It is a lot of power.

nobama’s minions have infiltrated every level. The EPA is just another fascist arm trying to destroy your freedom. The Pacific Legal Foundation has a long history of fighting these faceless tyrannical minions. Research the PLF and support them in our fight against these anti-Free-America creeps.

Thats where the county sheriff comes in handy. if its a county level ordinance, the sheriff is the one tasked with enforcing the payment [in my case]...
"vote em out" is a nice thought, but i believe most would go along [sheriff and population both] with the program since it represents the 'clean' air or water 'for the children' meme...
the loss of FReedom and badge backed thuggery is well established across the country...

Good points. And food for thought towards a new set of strategic operational parameters. Should the need arise, of course.

The EPA currently has over 18,000 employees.””””
Barely a blip on the screen of the 400,000 each week who are finily NEW unemployment claims.
They can file claims for themselves.
END THE EPA.
I will vote for the Republican candidate that convinces me that they will do exactly that on their first day in office.
