CW, correct, illegals are most definitely allowed in.
That was the wording, allowed in.
Their children are in our k-12 public schools.
Nothing is done about it, in fact, is there not a Federal law saying they have to be admitted and educated?
The adults are also employed, whether on the table or under the table, definitely employed.
So, depends whether you are talking about something written down on paper that they aren’t allowed, or whether you’re talking about the actual truth in terms of both Federal action and inaction.
Some folks live in a fantasy world where the reality is just too difficult to face, so, you’d better not face it if you don’t want them to roast your hide.
On another thread, I posted to a Howie Carr anti Perry rant the apparent truth that Howie Carr has repeatedly stated that Deval Patrick’s in state tuition for children of illegals in MA is giving FREE college tuition to illegals.
If Howie Carr is that over the top, and doesn’t blush in shame at the dumb lies, in order to oppose what they do in MA, no wonder his anti Perry rants. No wonder at all.
But people such as Carr who live in such glass houses really should not be throwing stones...
Can’t deal with the unhappy reality that children of illegals are being educated in our public schools, so let’s go so over the top, let’s lie and say they’re going to college for FREE in MA and now, TX.
Yep, that’s the ticket.
And by all means, let’s post him on Free Republic as a worthy opinion, when all it is, is a series of nastily worded, juvenile slams, from a source who says in state tuition is FREE...
“CW, correct, illegals are most definitely allowed in.”
Ummm...by who?
Would you say that here in Arizona, we allow illegals in? If we do, what is E-verify?
Why do we have check stations?
Why was SB1070 passed, although still blocked in the courts?
Why do they steal SSNs instead of get them? Why do most states block illegals from getting drivers licenses?
“Their children are in our k-12 public schools.”
While in the country, you cannot block the kids from attending K-12...but you can deport them.
I understand that Obama & the Democrats want them to stay and vote. I also understand that Republicans do not...on the whole.
Yet Perry says I’m cruel and heartless because I don’t want to give in-state tuition to illegals. Not because I block them from attending universities, although I most definitely would, but because I don’t want them to get in-state tuition while doing so.
Perry says my problem is I don’t like Hispanic surnames. He says I’m a bigot who just hates brown skin. Yet my wife is a Filipina, born & bred. And yes, she came here LEGALLY. As did two kids I adopted from the Philippines, to include lots of fees paid, and hundreds of pages of documents filed with the INS.
But them, maybe Perry would counter it is just Mexico that I object to, and Mexican culture...maybe THAT is what he meant by saying I object to their names.
Well, Mexican culture seems to include Spanish first. I worked with an engineer who was born in s. FL, and at age 50 barely spoke enough English to do his job. And it includes lots of drug smuggling, which is why there are now warning signs in the areas I used to hike freely as a kid - now I take a gun or two with me. It included dependency, based on the number of Spanish-only speakers I meet using food stamps in the stores.
Yes, I object to being told in America that I need to speak Spanish. I object to the trash I find, and the need to carry a gun with me in the desert. Those are the results of ILLEGAL immigration, not the ones coming here legally.
But in the world of Perry - and I live closer to the border than he does - I’m just a mexiphobic bigot who doesn’t have compassion.
Well, here is a hint. Perry is asking for MY vote. I’m not asking for his. And someone asking for MY vote shouldn’t spit in my face and call me names. It just has a negative effect, in spite of the fact that CW thinks it makes me a weakling.
“Some folks live in a fantasy world where the reality is just too difficult to face, so, youd better not face it if you dont want them to roast your hide.”
Fantasy world? Are the signs in Madera Canyon fantasy? Are the caches used by smugglers that my son-in-law found fantasy? Is the trash fantasy? Are the illegals my wife treats in the hospital fantasies? Are the hit & run unlicensed drivers fantasies? Was the rancher killed by illegals not really dead?
My “fantasy” world is 60 miles from the border. Welcome to it. It is a part of America that, at 53, I don’t recognize from my youth. I used to worry about sunscreen when hiking, not my ammo supply!
