That is really lame. What does that have to do with anything? He supports it. It’s not that it passed or not it’s that he supports it and still does to this day.

I heard him on Hannity too - it made what he was saying during the debate make a lot more sense.

While he's not the "perfect" candidate, he will do if nothing better floats to the top. I'm really afraid that Romney may somehow end up being it and while better than McCain would have been and way better than Obama, it would be a 4-year stumbling block to real reforms.

If we can boost presence in the House and take the Senate, a Perry or better would probably get us on the road.

Good synopsis.Romney won and Palin, Bachmann,Santorum helped.Add to the fact that Perry is called a RINO on this forum by people that are comparing him to a President that I will bet they supported, Bush.As well as the Palin comparisons to Reagan being so hypocritical as Reagan who was a former democrat declared amnesty. How is Perry different than Reagan? Will Palin save us all or be Romney’s VP? Romney knocked Perry out now he has Christy to contend with and I am sure he will get all the same help but lose.

Your using the term “raisenhead” puts you in the group that uses the Quran as their holy book. That is after all what the Quran uses as a term for the blacks. If you are of the persuasion of Islam I won’t even discuss anything with you. See ya.

>>You seem to know a lot about Islam.<<

I’ve done enough research to know the core of their beliefs. I’ve read much of the Quran and know that to even allow them into this country is dangerous. I know enough to know that blacks who convert to Islam are really in danger. I know enough that to support someone like Perry who welcomes them is something a true follower of Christ can not do.

>>How bout the term BROWN CLOWN?<<

I don’t like bigots. You can disagree with him as vociferously as I do but it has nothing to do with the color of his skin. Your comments hurt us as conservatives and only give the libs a reason to call us racist.

>>Will I get an answer now?<<

What, you think that going from one racist bigoted comment to another makes a difference to me?

Mark Levin, on his show 9/23/11, regarding Rick Perry and in-state tuition for the children of illegals:

"They [the children of illegals] are being educated, right up to and through high school.

Where did it come to pass that if you're here illegally, you have a right to a college education, let alone the right to have it subsidized, when all Americans do NOT have their college educations subsidized?

I mean, this is perverse, to be honest with you.

And it is also the position of the Bush family. And I think, if I'm wrong, I stand corrected, it's the position of some of our "inside-the-beltway" publications.

But it is not the position of the American people, who have to pay this bill, endlessly."

The point is, Perry DEFENDS this bill to this day, and calls its opponents “heartless.”

It’s a load of crap, and shows what a freaking LIB Perry is at heart.

That’s why he is being (righty) rejected.

I like your tagline. “If a man will not work, he should not eat” From 2 Thes 3)”

Along those lines, people who break our nation’s laws should not be rewarded.

There’s still a few birdbrains who will never learn, or who will flush whatever “conservatism” they have straight down the toilet for Perry.

But you are right, the overwhelming number of Freepers have seen the truth.

CW, correct, illegals are most definitely allowed in.

That was the wording, allowed in.

Their children are in our k-12 public schools.

Nothing is done about it, in fact, is there not a Federal law saying they have to be admitted and educated?

The adults are also employed, whether on the table or under the table, definitely employed.

So, depends whether you are talking about something written down on paper that they aren’t allowed, or whether you’re talking about the actual truth in terms of both Federal action and inaction.

Some folks live in a fantasy world where the reality is just too difficult to face, so, you’d better not face it if you don’t want them to roast your hide.

On another thread, I posted to a Howie Carr anti Perry rant the apparent truth that Howie Carr has repeatedly stated that Deval Patrick’s in state tuition for children of illegals in MA is giving FREE college tuition to illegals.

If Howie Carr is that over the top, and doesn’t blush in shame at the dumb lies, in order to oppose what they do in MA, no wonder his anti Perry rants. No wonder at all.

But people such as Carr who live in such glass houses really should not be throwing stones...

Can’t deal with the unhappy reality that children of illegals are being educated in our public schools, so let’s go so over the top, let’s lie and say they’re going to college for FREE in MA and now, TX.

Yep, that’s the ticket.

And by all means, let’s post him on Free Republic as a worthy opinion, when all it is, is a series of nastily worded, juvenile slams, from a source who says in state tuition is FREE...

If I take my child when I go into Wal-Mart to steal a steak, did my child commit a crime?

“CW, correct, illegals are most definitely allowed in.”

Ummm...by who?

Would you say that here in Arizona, we allow illegals in? If we do, what is E-verify?

Why do we have check stations?

Why was SB1070 passed, although still blocked in the courts?

Why do they steal SSNs instead of get them? Why do most states block illegals from getting drivers licenses?

“Their children are in our k-12 public schools.”

While in the country, you cannot block the kids from attending K-12...but you can deport them.

I understand that Obama & the Democrats want them to stay and vote. I also understand that Republicans do not...on the whole.

Yet Perry says I’m cruel and heartless because I don’t want to give in-state tuition to illegals. Not because I block them from attending universities, although I most definitely would, but because I don’t want them to get in-state tuition while doing so.

Perry says my problem is I don’t like Hispanic surnames. He says I’m a bigot who just hates brown skin. Yet my wife is a Filipina, born & bred. And yes, she came here LEGALLY. As did two kids I adopted from the Philippines, to include lots of fees paid, and hundreds of pages of documents filed with the INS.

But them, maybe Perry would counter it is just Mexico that I object to, and Mexican culture...maybe THAT is what he meant by saying I object to their names.

Well, Mexican culture seems to include Spanish first. I worked with an engineer who was born in s. FL, and at age 50 barely spoke enough English to do his job. And it includes lots of drug smuggling, which is why there are now warning signs in the areas I used to hike freely as a kid - now I take a gun or two with me. It included dependency, based on the number of Spanish-only speakers I meet using food stamps in the stores.

Yes, I object to being told in America that I need to speak Spanish. I object to the trash I find, and the need to carry a gun with me in the desert. Those are the results of ILLEGAL immigration, not the ones coming here legally.

But in the world of Perry - and I live closer to the border than he does - I’m just a mexiphobic bigot who doesn’t have compassion.

Well, here is a hint. Perry is asking for MY vote. I’m not asking for his. And someone asking for MY vote shouldn’t spit in my face and call me names. It just has a negative effect, in spite of the fact that CW thinks it makes me a weakling.

“Some folks live in a fantasy world where the reality is just too difficult to face, so, you’d better not face it if you don’t want them to roast your hide.”

Fantasy world? Are the signs in Madera Canyon fantasy? Are the caches used by smugglers that my son-in-law found fantasy? Is the trash fantasy? Are the illegals my wife treats in the hospital fantasies? Are the hit & run unlicensed drivers fantasies? Was the rancher killed by illegals not really dead?

My “fantasy” world is 60 miles from the border. Welcome to it. It is a part of America that, at 53, I don’t recognize from my youth. I used to worry about sunscreen when hiking, not my ammo supply!

“If I take my child when I go into Wal-Mart to steal a steak, did my child commit a crime?”

When you feed your child the steak you stole from Wal-Mart (Wal-Mart? For a steak?), does your child benefit from your theft?

Or, when you steal, do you do so only for yourself?

18 year olds are not children, there are illegal ADULT foreign nationals. They should be deported not coddled. Of they want to go to UT they can apply like other international students from Ciudad de Mexico.

To 55 - Excellent.

Aside: It grows quite tiresome to see so many American citizens use patriotism to mask their bigotry and hate of anything 'Mexican'.
