Personally...I’m feeling hostile towards both parties.
They both suck, just the dims suck more.
I chuckle to myself when I hear media report that people give Congress a higher disapproval rating than they do the President. They like to remind us of that rating because the GOP controls congress - but surely they don’t believe this translates into a belief that the Dems can recapture congress, or that the people would choose Obama over Congress, or that control of Congress is at play!
At the end of the day, time and again with only rare exception or in some very close districts, the people send their own congressperson back each and every term, over and over again. They may hate congress, but they rarely take it out on their own congressperson. Only once in a while do they flush out a bunch of ‘em - like we saw in 2010. I don’t think its going to swing back the other way in 2012. If anything I think the GOP will extend its gains.
