One day while walking down the hall she overheard some hispanic teachers laughing, and one said, in a real loud voice,...”WE ARE TAKING BACK TEXAS, ONE BABY AT A TIME!”
My SIL no longer lives in Texas.
To be fair, it could be the Hispanic teachers were “nervously” joking about the situation, in a sarcastic sort of way.
