ABC's 'Celebrity Wife Swap' has reportedly lined up two participants: Gary Busey and former New Life Church pastor Ted Haggard.
Yep, you read those names right.
According to the Colorado Springs Gazette, Haggard and Busey will swap partners ... without the sex of course. The Gazette reports the show will shoot at the GLBT Pride Center in Colorado Springs on Thurs., Sept. 22.
Each episode of 'Celebrity Wife Swap' follows two couples as they switch wives for two weeks. For the first week the new wives must live by the manual left by host family. The second week, the new wives take control and set out to try and change the way their "new" families live. Each episode ends with the real couples reuniting and having a meeting of the minds with their counterparts.
ABC has ordered six episodes of the reality series. No air date has been set and no official casting has been announced.
Haggard is no stranger to TV. He made headlines after news broke of his ongoing affair with a male prostitute and crystal meth use, causing him to resign from the presidency of the National Association of Evangelicals.
Busey has made a number of TV appearances recently, having been part of 'Celebrity Apprentice' and 'Celebrity Rehab.'
Both men are active in their spirituality. Busey is a born-again Christian and minister with Promise Keepers and Haggard is a pastor of St. James, a nondenominational church in Colorado.

I’m still flabbergasted that Haggard’s official wife, Gayle, is sticking by him. For some reason I thought she split already.
Haggard’s official wife needs to dump him and then find out what a REAL man is like.

The official wife is the one that the public thinks is your wife. In Ted’s case, his real wife was more like the guy who massaged him.

Not sure you want to ping this out though. On the one hand, it’s very funny. On the other hand, it’s certainly a sign of the Apocalypse, which is not funny.

Ted must be hurting for bucks so he is forced to raise cash by turning himself into a freak show.
