I have to agree with you. He was wonderful last night and in comparison to the rest, seemed to me to be the most natural. Perry looked like he had a stick up his butt and Mittens was oozing political slime. Bachman said some right things but it seemed as though they were practiced more than from the heart. IMO, Santorum and Johnson seemed the most natural and answered the questions from the heart.

That is why I am still one of the 2 Santorum guys on FR. He is like one of us. He doesn’t need to think about questions because he has a Conservative core to work from. The right answers are at his fingertips because he really believes it. He lives the life. I like having a person running who is honest with who they are. Johnson, Cain and even Paul never miss a beat and tell it like they believe it is. That is why Perry, Mittens and Bachmann turn me off. They give these wooden answers that you can see were focus grouped.

As an aside. If anyone wants to read a heartbreaking story about Santorum that he rarely talks about is his daughter, Isabella. I herd him discuss it a few months back on Glenn Becks radio show. I didn’t even know about it.

Much like Palin, his adherence to principles has kept her alive when other would have walked away.
