As President Barack Obama gave his speech to the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday, a pro-Israel rally was taking place outside.
One of the participants in the rally was a Palestinian Authority Arab named Mazen, who also came to demonstrate in support of Israel.

Wearing a white shirt which read shalom, peace, salam, Mazen told Arutz Sheva that he was born in 1971 in Ramallah in the nation of Israel.
I come here today to stand before my Jewish brothers, to stand in front of the United Nations, to stand for Israel and to tell Israel how much I love it, he said, adding that he came to tell Israel, as a Palestinian Christian believer: Im not your enemy. I love you.
I will continue to pray for Israel and support Israel, said Mazen.

I’ve thought about it.
If Israel needs another rifleman, they have but to ask.
No such thing as a “Palestinian”, they are Arabs, nothing more, nothing less.
Dear Onona:
We could use another rifleman. If you’re qualified, contact our consulate. Bring friends.
Religion’s not a consideration. We have in our ranks Christians, Muslims, Druze, atheists, Hasidic and other varieties of Jews. All who sincerely wish to serve are welcome.
Very truly yours,
Israel
Not all non-Jews living in Israel, or the Middle East for that matter, are true Arabs. There are many different “denominations” there, and Arabs are just one of the mix. Most Palestinians are NOT true Arabs. We’ve come to call them all that, but it’s not true. Lebanese are not Arabs, nor are the majority peoples in most of the ME states, except maybe Saudi Arabia. We lived in Turkey and it was explained to us. They learn Arabic to read the Koran, but most are not true Arabs.
"I come here today to stand before my Jewish brothers, to stand in front of the United Nations, to stand for Israel and to tell Israel how much I love it... to tell Israel, as a Palestinian Christian believer: I'm not your enemy. I love you."
Right you are. Various Turkic peoples migrated to the edges of the old Byzantine Empire in the late Middle Ages. When Jihad came their way, they became Islamicized, but not Arabized (if that's the proper word). When the Turks conquered Byzantine and became an empire unto themselves, the Ottoman, they extended their hegemony down the Levantine coast, into Syria and also into Egypt and other parts of N. Africa.
The Arabs resented, hated them. That fact was the basis for Colonel T.E. Lawrence aka 'Lawrence of Arabia' becoming involved in the Arab Revolt against Ottoman rule. After WWI the West, England and France, made former Ottoman possessions protectorate states, then granted them independence. So how did the freshly minted Arab states repay the favor? Sided with the Axis in WWII and now wage Jihad against England, France and all the West. Ungrateful bastards.
Today, Turkey is rejecting the 'young Turks' movement of secular government and seems to find common cause with Syria, Egypt, et al in fanatical Islam and Jihad.
