I'm no fan of Mitt, but every politician gets money from some organization with which one can take issue.

I remember how the Dems (successfully) convinced voters that a local politician was a Nazi because his campaign took money from an organization which was affiliated with another organization which was affiliated with another organization which was borderline neo-Nazi.

It’s receiving million dollar donation from shell companies that dissolve that is suspicious. Then discover they’re part of the good-old-boy network at Nu Skin.

That makes both Bachmann and Perry donors look like choir boys.

Well, yeah, but:

“After the sponsorship deal was announced in 1999, Romney appeared at the company’s 10th international convention in Salt Lake City, where more than 10,000 of the company’s distributors had assembled for a meeting. Romney took the stage to address the crowd, telling them that both Nu Skin and the Olympics are “about taking control of your life and managing your own destiny.”

I would say he’s more than a friend of a friend of a friend. I don’t know if the company is any good or not, but he can’t say he never heard of them.
