I don’t know why she didn’t consider adoption. What seems obvious to me doesn’t seem obvious to her.

I think people don’t consider adoption because
1) they think they could never let someone else raise their baby (I know that is ironic considering they could kill it, but there it is)
2) if you do adoption, you are pregnant for nine months, with all the miserable side effects and none of the happy anticipation. And everybody can see what a messed up person you are, and then they will wonder where the baby went when you give it up, and judge you for dumping your baby on someone else.
3) They’d have to find an agency or a lawyer or something, and follow through with paperwork and stuff, and act grown-up and everything.

The above is why it’s so important that they find their local Pregnancy Resource Center fast, and get the encouragement and practical assistance they need to get up their nerve and give their baby life.

You know Mrs Don-o, I stood outside of abortion clinics for over 10 years on one or two days a week and saw many different kinds of attitudes from many different women and men as they went into the "clinic". Some were very hard and nasty, some were quiet so you didn't know where they were coming from, some were obviously broken but still going in and the list goes on and on. Whenever I talked to someone I tried to as quickly as possible find out where they were coming from and address them according to their needs. I never did say to anyone what I originally posted that you responded to.

That being said at times when a young women was particularity ugly acting and seemed really hardened I thought about it. The thing about witnessing is that one has to always be aware of The Holy Spirit's leading as much as they can because The LORD knows each individual and what they need to hear. According to The Bible some people need to gently loved into The Kingdom of God and others need to be saved by fear. When we always approach everyone the same because we presume to only gently love everyone into The Kingdom of God we may not be reaching the person who needs to fear.

I would hope, with the help of The Holy Spirit, that the individual you are speaking about I would have had the known to treat her gently with compassion. Well anyway, God bless you, as I am sure you are very well meaning.

Jud 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:

Jud 1:23 And others save with fear, pulling [them] out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
