What proof is there of a link between the investments made by the Texas Emerging Technology Fund and campaign contributions to Governor Perry? Just curious. The Texas Emerging Technology Fund investments are public record and each has gone through three levels of review before a decision is made to invest in it with a requirement of full dislosure and analysis of its business plan and management team. Wouldn’t a better question be to ask how many of the enterprises in which the decision was made to invest have in fact succeeded with getting the technology they featured to emerge into the market place? In reading the public list of political donors to Perry the dominant names are those of people such as the Bass brothers, the Koch brothers, H. Ross Perot and successful real estate entrepreneurs. I don’t recall seeing any of the emerging technology firms listed as donors in whom the TETF invested. Can you point out a couple?
Cain would get slaughtered.
And? Is there something you think you have proven?
