What do you mean by better nutrition? All food is CHON (Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Nitrogen) with minor additives. And what do you mean by cleaner? The food sold in the US is generally 'clean' in that it contains no pathologic contamination.

As I said, you have a highly romanticized veiw of food.

And yes, fried insects are on the human menu. Several cultures use them for their high protein content.

I found out, there is no point in serving kids stuff they won’t eat.
