You have paved the way for a possible Romney GOP nomination in order to push candidates that have as much of a chance at a general election victory as Christine O'Donnell had.
If you actually believe that a Palin/Bachmann ticket is "unbeatable" in the general Presidential election, you are living in an Echo Chamber that is completely sealed off from the reality of American politics in the Year 2011 A.D.
Out here on the Left Coast, the equivalent phenomenon on the Left are those who believe that a Dennis Kucinich/Nancy Pelosi ticket is "unbeatable" in the general Presidential election because Obama is just not Left-wing enough.
