The ad scares me.
It's actually the 2012 trailer, but without the waves and wolves because Perry does not believe in man-made global warming.
This would make a great summer blockbuster. I can see sequel potential, and theres even Shia LaBoeuf-level acting.
But the message is startling.
Is Perry's main selling point really, It's the Apocalypse, and I am the Only Hope For America?
Because, frankly, this is not what I was hoping for from my presidential candidates.
Also, here is some footage of horses!
Zero Change and Zero Jobs. Thank heavens REAL GOLD-FONT ALL-CAPS AMERICAN Rick Perry is here to turn that trend around. With him in change, well go from zero change and zero jobs to zero jobs and zero change.
I understand that 2012 is quickly turning into the Political Apocalypse. Everyone is alarmist. The horses are behaving oddly, turning up in political ads for no reason. Gary Johnson will actually be in attendance at Thursday night's debate. Clearly, we live in the End Times.
Harold Camping had nothing on this. After watching the Perry ad, I'm cowering under my desk, repenting with eight different religious texts open on my lap.

The Political Apocalypse for the worthies at the Washington Post means good news for the rest of us.

You couldn't write a better LIBERAL talking point straight line.
This ad is like a solid body blow, which begins to render your opponent less and less effective. I like to see someone with the guts to take on our Dear Leader.
As Rush says, they’ll tell you whom they fear.
Glad they disabled comments b/c all the left wing Bill Ayers type (mostly) under 40 nutjubs would be overloading it with cheap shot crap comments.
What I like about the President Zero advertisement — there are two quick shots of American farmland and it pulls no punches. In 2008 Bammy Boy was treated with kid gloves due to the race angle. Mitt is like McCain, won’t hit him hard. Rick Perry will
Gadzooks! The only reason footage of horses are even in the ad is because President zerO named Frau Blucher--
?Whhhhhhhhhhennnnnnnnnnnnn... whhhhhhheeennnnnnnnnn!
--his National Glue Jobs Czar.
"I vill do mein best... or mein name is not Frau Blucher!"
?Whhhhhhhhhhennnnnnnnnnnnn... whhhhhhheeennnnnnnnnn!
Footage of scared horses... is a terrible thing to see!
Yeah, you cannot... make this stuff up--
Did they expect roses?

Very telling comment!!
she’s bashing ‘my’ candidates - has she ever criticized ‘her’ president??
First, she is a Harvard grad who was employed only last year by the Post as an intern and, due to her being a very junior staff member and being gainfully employed inside the Beltway, she most likely has little or no idea of the dire condition of the country beyond the Potomac.
Second, on a positive note, she did include the video of Perry's ad in her article, so she is inadvertently extending its viewership into liberal territory.
The visuals, the acoustics, the quick cuts, all combine to overwhelm the senses. The general effect is devastating to Obama. He will have a difficult time compensating for this.

Plays like a movie trailer, and I hope this gets daily air play in every state in play for the election.. (i.e Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, Missouri, Iowa, Colordo, New Mexico, and Nevada)
Loved it. Looks like something Michael Bay would have directed. I was expecting explosions and car crashes.
The quick-cut edits overwhelm you to the point that you “experience” the ad more than you see/read it. The result for me was to want to view it again to better see what I saw/missed.
Perry knows there are plenty of birthers out there that are completely ticked that a usurper sits in the Red House ( Oops! “White” House).
