The ad scares me.
It's actually the 2012 trailer, but without the waves and wolves because Perry does not believe in man-made global warming.
This would make a great summer blockbuster. I can see sequel potential, and theres even Shia LaBoeuf-level acting.
But the message is startling.
Is Perry's main selling point really, It's the Apocalypse, and I am the Only Hope For America?
Because, frankly, this is not what I was hoping for from my presidential candidates.
Also, here is some footage of horses!
Zero Change and Zero Jobs. Thank heavens REAL GOLD-FONT ALL-CAPS AMERICAN Rick Perry is here to turn that trend around. With him in change, well go from zero change and zero jobs to zero jobs and zero change.
I understand that 2012 is quickly turning into the Political Apocalypse. Everyone is alarmist. The horses are behaving oddly, turning up in political ads for no reason. Gary Johnson will actually be in attendance at Thursday night's debate. Clearly, we live in the End Times.
Harold Camping had nothing on this. After watching the Perry ad, I'm cowering under my desk, repenting with eight different religious texts open on my lap.

You are spot-on General. The reference to the daisies and mushroom cloud ad is exactly what I was thinking when I saw it. And Zero’s last words in the ad were “and I’m just getting started”. Perfect!
At least we now have one candidate who is focused on the problem and is not centered in circular firing squad tactics to make their points. Seems to be a bit of Adm. David Farragut in his way of attacking problems.
It’s a great ad, except too long, the Perry words section is rushed, and the end title is on screen far too long, and almost seems creepy. Clip the end and give Perry more space to speak. Can’t wait to see this as a 1-min broadcast ad. [Our group is busy working on our own, so please forgive my nitpicking.]
It’s a great ad, but I did find the horses hooves odd. I half expected it to be the Fruit of the Loom guys announcing “a candidate like no other!”.
Not a bad ad. Too bad Perry was in it though.
“there are two quick shots of American farmland”
Wonder why there were no shots of all the Texas farmers who had the NO Trans Texas Corridor signs on their fences.
Perry would have split our state in two to line his pocket.
Twelve or fifteen at least.
Chuckling! You’re such a dang creative robot!
Is that you "Grandma" Carole Keeton McClellan Rylander Strayhorn?
............"There are attending political ramifications to all of this, which is rarely the case when one is discussing a candidate who garnered a mere 8% of the interest of the citizenry. For there is a distinct waft of Strayhorn in the air surrounding the empty Stall and his Corridor Watch.
Comptroller Carole Keeton McClellan Rylander Strayhorn, currently adrift on signature collection waters in her bid for Independent Gubernatorial validity, has been a fixture at CW.org events, railing prodigiously (yet without substance) against the TTC, and the very concept of toll roads. But herein arises a consistent theme when discussing Madame Comptroller; her inconsistency. Because prior to her decision to run against the TTC-proposing Governor Rick Perry, she too saw the meritoriousness of the concept of consumption road funding....." Source

Yours first.
Gazooks, am I getting old... or just ready for an oil change and upgrade?
Once again, as we can see in the article, the Republican nominee will be battling not only Obama, but the media. Running another “mushy” campaign like John McCain did will only give us “The Won”, again.
That's impossible because we're the same age.
I agree.
But...but...who do these media types think they’re “connecting” with?
And you rose at oh-dark-thirty to post it ....
Where are the blogpimp cops when you need them?
The best thing about this ad is that it will mainstream the name “President Zero”.
Oh my God! They did... re-elect Obama!
