Perry talking SS with Hannity.
I don’t dream or think of Palin until one of her supporters brings her up, I promise. He asked. I answered. Don’t shoot the messenger.
What most people do not understand about the Texas Governor is the limited power of the man or woman sitting in the office. He or she can veto legislation, make appointments to various commissions, and that’s about it. The real power is held by the Lt. Governor who controls the legislative agenda.
The only two Republicans the Left fear (and I mean FEAR!) are Palin and Perry.
Liked what he had to say, didn’t like the new hair cut, and had too much makeup on for such a closeup shot, should only wear that much on stage during the debates.
It was a good interview. Frankly, I’m worried that since the debate tomorrow is hosted by FOX - there will be more “gotcha” questions aimed at Perry, and Romney will be mostly left alone. I hope Perry is prepared for the onslaught to come.
It was a good interview. Perry looks rested and was well spoken.
And now with the markets on the verge of collapse, private pensions could be wiped out too.
This is a very tumultuous time.
Perry reaffirms he does not support blanket amnesty. Good stuff.
Thanks Sean.
I LOVE that ad, he could just run that over and over for the next year and win in a landslide.
Perry held the Lt Govs office as well.
Yeah, it was a little too light for him. But as one FR said, he did look “rested.” You could cake him in mud and he’d still be handsome.
Of course he’s impressive - he’s campaigning. He’s always impressive while he’s doing that.
“The real power is held by the Lt. Governor who controls the legislative agenda.”
This isn’t the whole, true story. The governor can call special sessions and set emergency items. Perry did it with the voter id bill this year.
I thought he might have had inside information. :-)
I’ve a very diverse portfolio...brass and lead. Tumultuous, indeed.
“Secure the border?” Perry? LOL
You forgot beans and rice.
Perry has been the most powerful Texas governor in history. He is responsible for getting rid of the liberal majority that wrote our textbooks — replaced them. He does a LOT of things like that that aren’t typical for his job. And don’t forget the infamous executive order. Like it or not, he’s used it. In the hands of someone like Perry, I personally care not.
Yes. As always, Perry. Like he said, Texas has spent $400,000,000 of its own money doing the feds job at the border. It’s time for the feds to do their job.
