>>What’s not to like about Facebook (from a recent convert)?! I gets messages from Mick Jagger hisself!<<

I loved Facebook, up until today.

Now, YOU don’t get to decide what’s interesting to you, Facebook’s “algorithm” gets to decide which friends’ posts you get to read.

Plus EVERY SINGLE THING you post, like, comment on, etc. shows up in that stupid TICKER at the right. Even people you never heard of will have their comments posted in your ticker, and your comments will show up in the ticker of people you don’t know.

I was able to see photos from the albums of complete strangers, all because one of my firends “liked” the album.

The idiots at Facebook really stepped in it this time. Their arrogance and disregard for users may well sink them.

Just read some of the complaints, ALL negative:

It gets worse. Last Monday I googled refurbished desktops, and individual desktop components with the thought of assembling yet another machine for myself. I didn’t buy anything and didn’t identify myself at any of the sites I looked at (yeah, I know, don’t tell me, I know, that my machine did identify itself everywhere.) On Tuesday, on the right of my Facebook page appeared ads for... refurbished desktops, and individual desktop components. How, why, WTF? Do the FTC and the Dept. of Commerce know too that I’m looking or was looking at... refurbished desktops, and individual desktop components ? Who doesn’t know yet?
