The father of this poor man has to live with the knowledge that his son was crying out for his Dad while these cops were beating him to death. The anger pushes me past words...
“The father of this poor man has to live...”
I think that part of the story stands out most in my mind. To know that your son was calling out to God and for his Dad for help while being beaten to death is beyond cruel and ruthless. I personally believe this: it happened because this young man was homeless. Could it have happened to a business man wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase? Yes... but less likely. The so called law enforcement officers felt that this man was a nothing, a nobody. I truly pray that justice will be done or his death would be in vain. I hope for a maximum sentence. Why? Because it may shock some law enforcement people into knowing that there aren’t any nobody’s or nothings.
