Gloves off? Are you serious? YOU: Your dream ticket must be Huntsman-Graham.

You started with an attempt at a hurtful jab at me. You began with no gloves on in the first place, cretin. I've got news for you, genious, sarcasm doesn't come off well in print without an indication that it is sarcasm. There is no voice inflection attached to print. As for the rest, well, all you are after is inflammation. You have no interest in honest debate. Good day.

I’ve watched it several times now, and I still get the chills when they show the horse riding in to save America. I think the ad is very effective, and the “zero” is referring to jobs growth. I hope President Zero sticks. However, I agree with whoever said that Gov Perry should never actually say it.

I don’t know enough about Perry to ascertain if he shoots off his mouth with reckless abandon, or if he says something shocking in order to get a dialog going.

GWB was the ultimate statesman, and he got his ass kicked publically, because he wouldn’t lower himself to stand up to the garbage. Frankly, I think it’s high time we’ve got someone on our side not afraid to land a few punches. People love Gov Palin for that, but because her reputation was sullied early on, it’s harder to swallow. I know it’ not fair, but it is what it is.

Marxists play by a different set of rules. They have no rules. When dealing with thugs like Obama and his union minions, you'd better understand that you're in a street fight. McCain was clueless. Clearly, Perry is not. I want someone who can win and will kick this SOB out of the White House. We'd better choose someone who knows how to be ruthless. 2012 is going to be ugly. Marxists don't like giving up their power. See the Iron Law of Oligarchy. Perry appears to be the only candidate so far who understands what we're up against.

For those pining for Romney, this is the essential difference between Romney and Perry. Romney will not go bare-knuckles. He has a long history of tacking suddenly left when he feels pressed - and when he goes left he doesn't just sidle over a bit, he lurches far left. Oh, he'll make nice conservative sounds on the stump but if the press turns on him for being too "mean" he'll grovel like a beaten cur; he always has. Perry will stand his ground.

I'm amazed at the backlash here of all places.

This place has been very negative towards our own lately. Sometimes I feel like I'm on an MSNBC board. =(

This is a primary and I doubt a 1:45 second ad is going to get air time on TV. This is to stir msm up and get their panties in a bunch. People will go to Youtube to see it. It's a smart move.

Remember Perry is trying to rally the base right now and this is how you do it...and he is trying to appeal to the male vote particularly..to get them riled up.

I understand your point but I think this is to generate it as news story. It wont be shown on TV more than likely but will get attention all over the MSM. It will also generate Youtube hits. The Morning in America ads will come. One more thing, this will come up in the next debate and everyone will be forced to agree or disagree with this ad. Either way it’s a good spot I think.

OH pahleeze!!!

I’ve been calling BHO Zero since he took office. And the name is accurate.
ZERO jobs.
ZERO economic growth
ZERO world leadership
ZERO ethics
ZERO truthfulness
ZERO ZERO experience
ZERO honesty

We can’t use the term Zero but the Dummies can call Tea Party members TERRORIST and “teabaggers” and you say oh well.

It’s time to get real and tell the American people the TRUTH.
Stop hiding in the corner with your knees knocking together. That is EXACTLY what the Dummies are hoping for. SHEEESH!

Based upon history, nothing good will come from name calling, whether the words came from Perry's own mouth or are just attributed to him. All the GOP candidates would do better to stick to issues and credibility rather than getting down in the gutter with the denizens from the left.

Calling out Obozo for his record:

Zero Jobs

Zero economic growth

Zero world leadership (add domestic leadership)

Zero ethics

Zero truthfulness

Zero experience

Zero honesty

Add:

Zero transparency

These are all issues related themes and fair game. Prospective candidates using name calling? This does not exude leadership. Sticking to the above issues is all that is necessary.

Perry has been fighting the Zero Administration since they got in. The EPA has been at WAR against him. Perry also knows that Zero and his minions are vindictive. If you don’t bow down and kiss the feet of the Zero you start losing things like NASA. (I wonder if that sat falling to earth hits oh lets say Martha’s Vinyard, will they turn the lights back on at NASA.) That’s a discussion for another day.
They pulled a military truck plant out of Sealy decimating the economy.
And to add insult to injury Zero’s AGW buddy head of Nasa refused to give Houston one of the retired shuttles. There is much more.

But Perry knows first hand how dangerous this bunch is. Oh yeah and Zero REFUSED federal help on the border, even to the point of refusing to accept the letter from Perry requesting the help.

Hey...nobody agrees with you...you are entitled to your mis-guided opinions that usually come from a limp wristed sort..but I suggest you give it up before calling more attention to yourself as a wimp!

Hmmm. Either you are unable to read, or unwilling to read all the posts on this thread. I’m not the only one who wants to see leadership, not juvenile behavior. Leave the juvenile antics to the liberals, and grow up. “When I was a child . . . “

GWB was the ultimate statesman, and he got his ass kicked publically, . . .

Ronald Reagan was the ultimate statesman, and more often than not kicked ass publicly without resorting to calling people names or acting in the juvenile delinquent fashion of liberals. The problem with Bush was that he tried to totally ignore all the lies and distortions in the lame stream media. Reagan confronted the lies and distortions, and put those who posited the lies in their place, usually with humor.
