Forgive me, I noticed you’ve only been here since 2010. If you’d been here for much longer, you’d see that I’ve been in the thick of primary battles, most notably going back to 2003 over the debacle of the CA Gubernatorial Primary. So how do I have this gift of discerning ? Because I’ve spent years on this subject to the exclusion of many others. Enough so that I was called a political historian by a former member of Congress. Simply because most people don’t have the time, the patience or even the interest with the subject, they come to me for a consultation or opinion. I’d put my record of discernment and “spotting the phony” against anyone else’s.
You make an interesting point about having a Conservative Congress, but that only gets you so far. Perry has a gargantuan majority in the TX legislature, but that hasn’t translated into sweeping Conservative reforms and initiatives. Indeed, they’ve been squandered. There are far better and more successful state Guvs than he, who have been tested under fire. Some who have barely been in office, such as Scott Walker of Wisconsin and Paul LePage of Maine. These are the kind of individuals (other than Palin) that show the kind of strength and success, and their individual stories (LePage’s especially) that would make an excellent President.
So. What’s your plan?

Last refuge of the defeated: time on FR. ZZZZZZZ. Puh - leeze.
Forgive me, but I’ve been writing for publication since 1992 and ghost writing for a major (and I mean MAJOR) figure since 08 on radio and another prominent conservative leader in print as well. In other words, time on FR is merely one measurement of how long someone has been in the fight or how strong one’s bona fides are.
It’s interesting that I never questioned your bona fides, only your reasoning. You, on the other hand........
