To: Reagan Man
Well, we'll agree to disagree here about this issue. I agree that Perry has some good things to commend as a conservative, but he certainly isn't our best candidate in twenty some years, I don't think he's even the best this time around.

We'll see, the more I read, the less I like.

Okay. Name one major candidate that has run for the nomination over the last 23 years that has a better "conservative executive governing record" then Rick Perry.

It ain't Willard. Unless you're a liberal or a moderate GOP'er, RomneyCare disqualiifes him from any considertion from the get-go. So who? GHWB? Bob Dole? Dubya? McCain? Maybe Huckabee? Think about it.

I say, none, zero, zippo! For the last 23 years the GOP has nominated moderates, at best. Romney would be the most liberal of the entire bunch going back to 1988.
