lawful acts of homosexual conduct will not be considered as a bar to military service.

What if those "lawful acts" are illegal in the country in which you are serving?

I don't believe they are legal in Afghanistan or Iraq or Kuwait. Does this mean that homosexuals get a pass when it comes to deployment in these regions?

And what about sex with minors in those countries where the legal age of consent in 12 or 13. Does this mean that American Servicemen can engage in what is considered statutory rape or child molestation in the United States as long as they do it where it is legal?

This is the beginning of the end of our military and our Country.

A truly conservative house and a truly conservative senate majority of 61 and a truly conservative president could turn this around.

Immediately.

The health issues alone are reason enough for any sane legislative body to turn this around. You add great reasons as well. Status of Forces agreements in host nations cannot be ignored. Nor can US law.

But a revolution in public voting is what’s needed.

And that awaits a takeover of the media by conservatives. How to accomplish that? The same way it was originally done. Subterfuge about one’s true positions until they achieve a position of power.
