The Beeb's salivating into a bucket over the prospect of American street violence but I'm afraid they're due for a disappointment. One need only look at the spread of incidents they've invoked - some eight decades - and compare it to similar incidents in Europe over nothing more than the preceding year to understand the differences in scale here.

The principal difference is that rioters in Europe know perfectly well that nothing is going to happen to them and that no matter what they wreck during the tantrum their government will replace it for them, gratis. In America the only places that assurance holds is within cities already committed to the support of the welfare class; elsewhere, they're likely to be shot and will not receive the customary European media lionization and orgy of recrimination against the middle class. Not here. No sympathy.

To a great degree the BBC is not an observer, but an acting and gleeful co-conspirator in this ridiculous Kabuki dance of class warfare. It's long past time for such adolescent fantasies to be set aside, IMHO - the papier-mache street puppets don't shoot back, and this...stuff...just got real.

The riots will come from the Leftists and anarchists. But here, we do have the second amendment and the castle doctrine in many states as indispensable supports. This has impeded the progress of the Left and their friends at the BBC.
We have always thought of the 2A as a bulwark against a tyrannical government. But, it is also a defense against a willfully negligent government that intentionally allows its favored malcontents to run wild. The flash mobs are a result of intentional Leftist permissiveness consistent with moral relativism.

Yes, but as always as Americans, when we do something, we do it big...people forget that Rodney King left 55 corpses in his wake.

“In America the only places that assurance holds is within cities already committed to the support of the welfare class; elsewhere, they’re likely to be shot and will not receive the customary European media lionization and orgy of recrimination against the middle class. Not here. No sympathy.”

Your statement really hit the bullseye.

Back in May, a gang of Holder’s peeples did their flash mob thing in Columbia, South Carolina and beat up a white kid. The thugs were arrested under the state’s anti-lynching law, and each thug faces up to 20 years in prison. Had the victim died, the savages would be looking at the death penalty.

Every place is not Chicago or Philadelphia. They were lucky they weren’t shot. The South Carolina Supreme Court recently “liberalized” the state’s castle doctrine and expanded the list of acceptable targets. You don’t want to flash mob in South Carolina.
