She has not done well running for president and she needs to cut her losses to her political career as soon as possible. She won’t be able to recover in this race. She’s doing more damage to herself if she stays in at this point.
I still like her. I hope she can get re-elected to the House. The retard remark in the hands of the press is likely to haunt her. I missed the one where she said she would drill in the Everglades. Someone, tell me she did not say that!

Rep. Michele Bachmann, who calls for abolition of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, is proposing energy exploration in one of America’s premier national parks.
“The United States needs to be less dependent on foreign sources of energy and more dependent on American resourcefulness,” Bachmann said in an interview with The Associated Press.
“Whether that is in the Everglades or whether that is in the eastern Gulf region or whether that is in North Dakota, we need to go where the energy is. But, of course, it needs to be done responsibly. If we can’t responsibly access energy in the Everglades, then we shouldn’t do it.”
But the Republican presidential candidate hastened to add that “experts in the field” have expressed “a great deal of certitude that we can do this.”
