I never saw any mention of an amnesty deal involving Hispanic illegals anywhere in the news, articles, TV in TX. So as far as I know Perry made no such comments at anytime.

You could easily verify that quote from the Texas Tribune and source it out if you want. You won’t be the first who didn’t see something reported in the news. I’m sure that shocks you.

The article claims that Perry wrote such a letter in 2001, but the link to that alleged letter does not work,
