There are close to half a million deaths from Cervical Cancer World wide every year. The death rate in the U.S. is more than 1/3. It is damn near a death sentence. The survival rate for five years is only 2/3. That is not good. Even with the best medical care in the World. The World wide death rate is considerably higher. The death rate is exactly as stated. If you die from it in five years and one day you are not considered to have died from it for statistical purposes.
Merck distributes the drug World wide.

Number of deaths by cervical cancer in 2005 in the U.S.were 3,924.(Not half a million)!
