A new book about Barack Obama, whose Pulitzer-prize winning author received extensive co-operation from the White House, portrays the American president as indecisive, out of his depth and facing insubordination from advisers.
He ain't dead yet Jim. And of course the author received extensive cooperation from the White House.
It's tough to explain away malevolence, though he and the Rev Wright pulled off a scam where Wright jumped under the bus for him in '08. Mistakes can be explained away, new advisors hired, and a bold new energy plan can be implemented. Open up fossil fuel development, extraction, and refining in time to get the economy moving before the election. Approve the Keystone pipeline, throw in some clean and scrubbed coal-fired electricity, a nuclear reactor or two, pay some lip service to the greens, and Bob's your uncle.
To: caveat emptor
True. Even if he leaves voluntarily or is defeated it will be impossible to repeal his lasting legacy, national health care, without a veto proof majority in the Senate. A Dem minority can filibuster any attempt to repeal it.
