I grew up in a city of about 50,000, but spend my formative teenage and young adult years in towns of 1,700 and 8,000, respectively.

I grew up in Haskell, TX, where Rick Perry grew up, population about 1,900. I can tell you one thing for certain...the governor hasn’t had a $12 mil ANYTHING built there using his political influence.
