Please name a more conservative candidate that has a chance of winning, that I may throw my insignificant support behind him/her.

Both Bachmann and Cain are more conservative as is Palin should she decide to run. As for who has "a chance of winning", I think given Obama's abysmal record they all have a chance. Do you really buy into the leftist media polls that say they don't? Why do you think they tell you that? It's because they don't want them to win and because they want Perry. Why would that be?

I don't allow the leftist media to decide for me, I'll decide on my own. It's a shame more 'conservatives' don't do the same.

Of the eight in the race : Huntsman appears to be a democrat, Paul is still in a class of his own, Bachmann / Cain / Santorum are genuine We the People conservatives, Perry and Romney are country club compassionate "conservative" corporates, and Gingrich is unique in that he visits both the genuine and the country club conservative camps.

Who is more conservative than Perry? Gingrich, Santorum, Cain, and Bachmann -- no question about it. Who has a chance of beating Obama? If you believe the hype being spread by the GOP insiders, only Perry and Romney do. If you haven't drunk that koolaid, then you know every candidate on the floor has the potential of beating Obama -- because Obama as so thoroughly defeated himself for us. Rasmussen reported that a "generic" insert-name-here Republican would beat Obama by an 8% spread. That's a landslide for any of them.

If We the People truly want to capitalize on this once in a lifetime opportunity and effect *real* change in Washington -- proving finally that we are not the party of country club corporate cronies -- we need a conservative ticket. Give me any combination of Bachmann, Cain, Gingrich, and Santorum. Any one of them is superior to a Romney or a Perry.
