An impression she feeds to her own benefit with less benefit to the conservative cause or Republican electoral success. I will criticize her for this selfish game she is playing and so will the majority of the base that is also fed up with the woman right now.

Really? Last I looked, Palin hasn't written a book or made another TV program and has made very few paid speeches over the last year. It seems to me that she would have been doing more of that, if she was out for her own benefit to the detriment of conservatives. I would also add that there was no political figure who worked harder in the last election cycle trying to elect conservatives (and Republicans).
