At the dinner in Iowa after the straw poll that Perry and Bachman attended--the one where Bachman didn't show up for dinner but came in late, gave a speech, and quickly left without working the room--it became clear that Bachman was dead meat.

Of course, Perry came early, worked the room, sat through all the speeches, ate, and went table to table shaking hands. This is how Perry will win.
