They are saving them so they can beat up the oil industry later.
Endangered is ok, extinct is bad.
Lets see who will loose out to these fish in the future.

“I thought liberals believed in Darwin, and the Law of the fittest?.............”
They do. They think minnows are more fit than humans.

I thought, surely, the minnows would be lost, after a 3 hour tour?

This drought is horrifying.
I cant imagine what it will be like if we have to sustain another year of it.

I guess I had better go down to the river this weekend to check it out.
Mickey said the river was running good and that the trees were all fine, but that was in mid August.

Proving that “endangered” species can be relocated.
No need to ever stop another construction project.

This drought is horrifying. I cant imagine what it will be like if we have to sustain another year of it. I certainly sympathize with the people in Texas, some of my relatives winter there...but the drought is a natural event and I'm not sure that we should be interfering with her. I guess saving a minnow species has its high points, but zillions of species have become extinct and the earth goes on without them......we'll see, maybe we are smarter than God....probably not.

My spottails are troopers. I can cast them out 50 feet and they will swim back to their school regardless of what gear (hook, sinker, bob) I saddle them with. I hook mine through the the middle of the back, right above the lateral line.
Some people hook them through the mouth.

Only went catfishing once, but we used black bloodsuckers...pick them up with needle nose plyers and one or two will last all day...and you'd get a good number of catfish with them...
Black bloodsuckers is not a racist remark, just a type of bloodsucker....:O)

Woohoo! I got 18 seconds of drizzle today!!! Yep, 18 whole seconds. First we’ve had in who knows how long.

That sounds as bad as using "Stinky Joe" You take the entrails from your last batch of catfish, put em in a resealable jar with some sour cream and cut bait then leave that out in the yard for a day or two.
You'll want to bring along those pliers ☺
