The REAL problem is that with obama, there’s no there there. Both mind and heart are absent or deficient. That’s why he makes such a good puppet for Soros and Al-Waleed, but it would be difficult for most people to have a conversation with him.
Ideology is not the issue. Reagan and Tip O’Neil understood each other very well, although one was conservative and the other was liberal. (Of course, obama’s “liberalism” goes WAY beyond O’Neil’s, and is really totalitarianism.)
