Erik Wemple reports that Fox News says it tried to book Joe McGinniss to talk about “The Rogue,” but he said he was “too busy.” Why put him on the air and give the book publicity?? If McGinniss showed up on Fox News, I'd change the channel.

Why would anyone give free airtime to this scumbag unless the interviewer intends to ask some probing, truly inquisitive questions, which not many in the main stream media are willing to do. Perhaps some hosts on Fox would ask such questions, and the weasel is afraid to go talk with them?
