Paypal is a business, customers of any sort to me should have a right to petition to remove organizations, so petitioning Paypal to not revoke these accounts is a proper and reasoned response.

Paypal will make a business decision, based on the bottom line.

However, not being able to use Paypal isn’t economic death. It is a tool, but a business, not some sort of right. They will have to evaluate the impact to the business.

I have my doubts if these organizations, particularly Tradition, Family and Property, are what I’d think of as “mainstream”, so I’m not going to sign the petition.

Paypal already supports Planned Parenthood. They, like any corporation, has business interests and politics. If you don’t like their politics, don’t use them.

Anyone even know how to just send a Western Union wire anymore? It ain’t that hard.
